VAUTID at POWTECH 2023
Leading trade fair for processing, handling and analysis of powders and bulk solids
From 26 to 28 September 2023, POWTECH 2023, the leading international fair for the powder and bulk solids industries once again took place in Nuremberg. Unrivalled technical breath and new formats impressed the audience this time at POWTECH. Some 9,500 trade visitors enjoyed a first-class trade fair program with a good chance to make useful contacts. In four halls at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, 553 exhibitors from 27 countries showcased their innovations. The PARTECH Congress for Particle Technology which is held every three years also took place together with POWTECH this time.
Exhibitors cover a host of services: primary processing of powders and bulk solids; manufacturing of process plant equipment and components; apparatus for measuring, regulating, and process automation; products related to nanotechnology, safety and the environment; and several service providers from the mechanical process engineering sector.
Expert knowledge-sharing and the new think tank format at the Networking Campus for entrepreneurs and scientists were well received and proved popular again at this year’s POWTECH. Visitors like project engineers, production managers and other persons involved in procurement decision-making processes came to find out about the latest products, services and innovations in their sector. Some 40 per cent of trade visitors came from outside of Germany. Alongside Germany, the top exhibiting countries were Austria, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
At VAUTID, our business is extending the service life of plant and machinery. We do this through a range of metal-based wear protection solutions. For example, abrasion-resistant hardfacing welding consumables, such as hand-held electrodes for flux-cored wire, are used to protect products such as feeder screws or gravel pumps. Ready-to-fit units, made from wear-resistant castings or composite wear plates, are another case in point.
Many visitors at our booth were interested in cut-outs and constructions made of wear plates as well as construction based cast products and our hardfacing materials.
